KYBELLA

Kybella is an injectable medication used to improve the appearance of moderate to severe submental fat (fat below the chin), reducing the appearance of “double chin.” Kybella is composed of an active synthetic deoxycholic acid, which is a naturally occurring enzyme, produced in our body that aids in the break down and accumulation of fat. Once medication is injected into fat, breakdown of fat begins, results of fat destruction are permanent. Once fat cell are destroyed, those cells can no longer accumulate, thus further treatment is not needed.
Individualized treatment plans will be developed with Nurse Practitioner. Number of treatments is base off chin profile and accumulation of fat cells. Most clients report visible results in 2-4 treatments. Treatments are spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
